Day 2: The Interview
I had my interview at 1 today. So naturally I was anxious all day until 1 pm. AND because they won't be making their final decision until Tuesday, I have to wait until Tuesday for the phone call! Ugh, back to anxiety again. I really hope I get this, it would definitely be nice to help my husband pay the bills and put some cash away for the big trip of 2012. I felt good about it though. It went really fast and I didn't talk much, so that's good! Although, I did realize that after the interview, my top is slightly see through and my white bra was quite visible through it. So that's embarassing! Besides that I feel like I have a good chance at getting the job! Oh, when I got home I started raiding the cabinets for the dark chocolate covered assorted nuts, (they calm the nerves), and I couldn't find them, so I thought my husband, trying to be helpful with my dieting and all , hid them. I was going crazy trying to find where he would hide the nuts, until I finally cracked and asked him where he put them. He took them to work with him, so I wouldn't find them at all. Touche. I'm going to go pop in a work out video now, since I only work out at home and such. Wish me luck! -Coops

Day 1: Find a job!
I am incredibly ADD, and when I have a great idea that I'm excited about, I have to write everything going on in my head down! So, I guess I will start this first post off about myself. I recently graduated from college in May of 2009. I suppose this would be the worst time to graduate since no one seems to be hiring during these hard times. Lucky me, I married my fiance of 3 years the month after graduating, so I am taken care of by this amazing man who will always be able to find work since he's a diesel mechanic. However, I have a great love for animals, so of course we own 3 cats and 2 dogs. Don't freak out! We aren't horders or anything like that, I take very good care of them, they are my babies! I can't stand being home all day though! And I live in this little itty bitty town that no one has ever heard of in Texas, so of course nobody seems to be hiring here. So I've been out every now and then looking for jobs that don't even require a college degree. No hits for a long time so I gave up until about 4 days ago. One of my very best friends is fixing to be engaged to her college sweetheart and her dream wedding has always been Scotland in this one gorgeous castle. Destination wedding, close friends and family. And I'm one of her bridesmaids! One problem...I'm broke as a joke and there's no way my husband is going to pay that much money for me to fly all the way to Scotland! Sooo, my mom and I started talking about this, and our dream has always been to go to Greece and explore it! Well, she came up with a plan on how much money we would have to save each week until July of 2012 to come up with just the right amount for not only the trip to Scotland, but to Greece as well during that month! Motivation is all I need to get a job done. So with that in mind, I got myself all prepped up for todays job search and went out to little shops in town, restaurants and even hotels (receptionist jobs). I had many prayers going for me, and I believe that's what did it! I got a call back for this one new hotel in town, and I have an interview tomorrow! I am so excited about it, because it's just one step closer to my savings for Scotland and Greece! Just one more thing. Now I'm not a bad shopaholic, but anytime I get money I go crazy with it...online! Who knew online shopping could be so addicting! See, there's this one site called "retail me not" and there are coupons on this site for online shopping at all kinds of stores! So you think you're getting great deals, when really you're still burning holes in your pockets. So I did my last buy a week ago, and I haven't bought anything since! It's like I'm in the detox phase of my addiction! haha. No really, it is. My husband had the bright idea to cut my debit cards up but then decided against it since I'm the one that actually goes out and pays our bills. So now when I get a job I'm going to have to find a way to hide my own paychecks from myself...is that even possible? I hope so, but then I also hope that I can find them when it comes down to paying for my plane ticket and hostels and what not. I will update more tomorrow, hopefully with great news!!! Until then - Good night all! -Coops
